About me and my experience

I’ve been working in bridal hair since 2018, styling weddings of all sizes and aesthetics. I’m experienced with all hair types, textures, and skin tones, and I focus on creating polished, long-lasting looks that photograph beautifully and feel comfortable throughout the day. My goal is always a personalized style that reflects you and allows you to feel confident, relaxed, and fully present.

What Makes My Bridal Services Different

My approach is intentional, flexible, and centered entirely around you. I don’t follow a cookie-cutter bridal formula — every look is built around your comfort level, personal style, and the overall vision of your wedding. Through clear communication and thoughtful planning, I create an experience that feels calm, affirming, and tailored rather than scripted.

The Experience I Provide

From consultation to wedding day, you can expect professionalism, adaptability, and genuine care. I take time to listen, plan with intention, and adjust as needed so everything runs smoothly. Your wedding isn’t about fitting into traditional expectations — it’s about celebrating your relationship in a way that feels authentic to you.

LGBTQ Weddings

I proudly provide inclusive bridal services for LGBTQ+ couples, including gender-neutral contract options and complete flexibility in service selection without assumptions about identity or roles. LGBTQ+ Weddings & Why This Matters

For many LGBTQ+ couples, wedding planning comes with an extra, often unspoken layer of stress—

Will I be misgendered? Will assumptions be made? Will I have to explain myself all day? Will my partner and I be treated equally?

Unfortunately, those concerns are valid. Many wedding services still operate on rigid, gendered expectations that don’t reflect the reality of queer relationships.

That’s where I come in.

I proudly work with LGBTQ+ couples and intentionally design my bridal services to be inclusive from the very first interaction. This includes:

  • Gender-neutral contracts and language

  • No assumptions about roles, styles, or preferences

  • Hairstyling or barbering services for any gender

  • The freedom to choose a haircut instead of a traditional “updo” if that’s what feels right

  • A space where you never have to explain or justify who you are

Bridal Hair & Makeup FAQ

Do you provide both hair and makeup for weddings?

I primarily specialize in bridal hair, but I also do offer makeup services for weddings. For larger wedding parties (typically 5 or more hair services) or tighter timelines.

Do you offer on-site  hair and makeup services?

Yes. With a travel fee of $1 per mile from my shop location in Parkville MD.

Why would a separate makeup artist be recommended?

When timelines are condensed or multiple services are needed, having a dedicated makeup artist allows for:

A more relaxed getting-ready experience, better time management and consistent, high-quality results across the entire wedding party

Do you work with all hair types, textures, and skin tones?

Absolutely. I have experience working with all hair types and textures, as well as all skin tones and skin types. Whether it’s hair or makeup, my focus is on creating looks that photograph beautifully, feel comfortable, and reflect each person’s natural features and style.

Do you offer inclusive or LGBTQ+ wedding hair and makeup services?

Yes. I proudly offer inclusive bridal services for LGBTQ+ couples. This includes a gender-neutral contract option, no assumptions about roles or styles, and hairstyling, barbering, or makeup services for any gender.

What if I don’t fit into traditional bride/groom roles?

You don’t need to. For couples who don’t identify with traditional wedding roles, I offer a separate gender-neutral contract that removes assumptions and allows each person to choose the hair or makeup services that feel right for them.

Do you offer haircuts or barbering instead of traditional styling?

Yes. Haircuts and barbering services are available in place of traditional wedding hairstyles, regardless of gender. Short hair and clean cuts are welcome here.

How far in advance should I book bridal hair and makeup?

I recommend booking 6–12 months in advance, especially during peak wedding season. Your date is officially secured once a signed contract and retainer are received.

Can you recommend other LGBTQ-affirming wedding vendors?

Yes. I have a trusted network of LGBTQ+-affirming wedding vendors, including makeup artists, photographers, florists, planners, and creatives, and I’m happy to share recommendations.

What areas do you serve?

I’m based in Baltimore, Maryland, and offer on-site wedding hair and makeup services throughout the surrounding areas. Travel details are outlined in your contract.
